Today's topic/medium/whatever:Music
Subject/band/artist/whatever:The Hoosiers and The Sick Puppies
This spectacular mix of Indie, pop, and a touch of comedy (in some peoples opinion) is a refreshing break from all the other artists out there. No "Oops I did it again" or "Your Beautiful" nonsense here. Plain and simple: music. They get that no one wants to listen to the same old stuff.
Their hit song "Goodbye Mr.A, a comedic (in a good way) song about super hero's, contrasts nicely with their more serious sounding songs like "Worried About Ray.". It's nice to know that they are making it in the world.
Their music will be featured in the new movie "Juno", the story of a young girl who gets pregnant. In my opinion they get two thumbs up.
Next on my list of music: The Sick Puppies.
As featured in the YouTube video "All the Same (free hugs)" their song "All the Same" is anything but that. Even before watching the free hugs video, the lyrics touch our heart. Their lyrics will make you think about life and how you live it. Again, two thumbs up.
Here's the Video that features their song:

Nicely reviewed, although I suggest a little more organization in your posts such as breaks between paragraphs, and maybe putting emphasis on things like band names (in Italics or Bold or something).
Anyway, nice review =] I love both of their singles and that video rocks my world.
Pink Martini and The Dandy Warhols would love a review later today... maybe after we hear from Jess about the concert (alright so maybe it will be Thursday).
